Aircon Installer/2yrs Exp/NC11 - San Pablo Laguna

Responsibilities:
Install air conditioning systems, including ductwork, refrigeration lines, electrical wiring, and controls, according to blueprints, specifications, and local building codes.
Perform pre-installation inspections to assess site conditions, electrical supply, and other factors affecting installation.
Assemble and position HVAC components, such as compressors, motors, fans, and coils, using hand tools and power tools.
Connect HVAC systems to electrical power sources, test components for proper operation, and troubleshoot any issues.
Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts, to optimize system performance and longevity.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in air conditioning systems, including leaks, faulty components, and electrical problems.
Provide recommendations to customers regarding system upgrades, repairs, or replacements based on assessment of existing equipment.
Complete necessary paperwork, such as work orders, installation reports, and maintenance logs, accurately and promptly.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safe work practices.

Qualifications and Skills:
Completion of a vocational or technical training program in HVAC installation and repair preferred.
Proven experience as an air conditioning installer or technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to HVAC installation and maintenance.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment commonly used in HVAC work.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail when diagnosing and repairing air conditioning systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and coworkers.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for positions that involve travel to job sites.
EPA certification for handling refrigerants may be required, depending on local regulations.
