Job Description
Job Description: Motor Rewinder
Department: Production
Job Summary:
Implement scope of work, repair, rewinding, develop and maintain motor and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, on time and quality.
Essential Functions:
➢ Data gathering like number of turns, measurements of winding and core
➢ Rewind small and medium-sized distribution motor and generators
➢ Operate of wire-coiling machines to wind wire coils used in motor, and in electrical equipment. ➢ Select and load materials such as workpieces, objects, and machine parts into equipment used in winding processes.
➢ Measure and cut slot insulation
➢ Perform miscellaneous operations such as dismantle and clean parts.
➢ Insertion of coils and connect as per as found data
➢ Fabricate and insert new slot wages
➢ Apply insulating varnish to winding
➢ Assist technician during initial and final electrical test
➢ Assist technicians in no load test
➢ Record winding data to log book for reference
➢ Paint the unit base on original color or as per customer.
➢ Help others with more complicated jobs
➢ Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Collage/high school graduate
With experience in motor rewinding not less than 2 years
