IT Business Analyst

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements which may include detailed functional specifications, process flow charts, and customer journey flow by conducting interviews, workshops, and observations from all stakeholders and/or SMEs.
Create detailed documentation of business requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows which will serve as a reference for development teams
Conduct user requirements walkthrough sessions with the stakeholders and project team

• Ensure all agreements and alignments are properly documented
Collaborate proactively with project manager, project team, and stakeholders for monitoring of requirements-related activities and for any clarification needed during the development and testing phases.
Assist in prioritizing requirements based on business value, urgency and feasibility
Manage all action items and follow through to meet timelines
Updates requirements documentation impacted for any change requests

• Facilitate and conduct user training and support during technology implementation.
Perform functional, regression and UAT testing to ensure that the requirements are delivered in-scope.
Identify and report defects and issues encountered during UAT, working closely with development teams to resolve and retest them.
Maintain organized and up-to-date UAT test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
Continuously monitor the performance of systems and processes to identify any anomalies or emerging issues during the stabilization period.
Document the functional / regression testing outcomes of test executions, including pass/fail results and any issues encountered.
Gather feedback from end-users to understand their experiences and to capture any problems, suggestions, or questions they may have.
Identify any issues, discrepancies, or challenges that have arisen during stabilization period

• Act as OIC when Project Manager is not around
Obtain technical know how of all internal platforms Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.

Must have background on I.T, database management and automation process

Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Knowledge of business process modeling and optimization.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
