Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the procurement process, including identifying suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating terms.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand and address their procurement needs.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
• Track inventory levels and participate in inventory management activities.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve issues and build strong relationships.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Willing to work on Saturdays
