HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY

The Head of Tech role, in a nutshell, is in charge of overseeing the delivery of all technology-related requirements.

Responsibilities:
● The primary role is to oversee the delivery of all technology-related requirements executed by Product and Technology team
● Conceptualize and architect full-stack solutions that are secure and scalable
● Make calculated decisions based on resource limitations
● Ability to translate business and product requirements into technical specifications
● Forecast, justify, and work around budget asks

REQUIREMENTS:
● Has at least 5 years of experience as a lead engineer, engineer manager or solutions architect working with development teams who build web, mobile, and API-centric applications
● In-depth knowledge in designing and architecting scalable and highly available infrastructure with various cloud service providers
● Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
● Experience leveraging third-party solutions and partners to complement required product capabilities
● Key Competencies:
○ Full-stack Web Development
○ Mobile Application Development (IOS & Android)
○ Serverless Technologies
○ Microservices Architecture
● Must have a mid-senior project management experience
● Excellent communication skills both written and oral
● Experience using agile methodologies and scrum as product management
● High-quality organizational and leadership skills
● Capable of negotiating with the stakeholders
● Capable of managing more than 10 engineers and effective in mentoring junior developers
● Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
● Has an analytical mindset to develop and utilize reliable metrics
● Financial skills including budgeting, forecasting, justifying and managing OPEX
