Job Description

As a member of the Delivery & Integration Service, the L3 Application Support - Deployment Engineer is responsible for the successful installation and deployment of IT Europe applications in production & non-production environments. The Deployment Engineer will also provide technical support and troubleshooting to end users and Project Managers.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
The L3 Application Support - Deployment Engineer will be in charge of the following:
● Pipeline implementation on Microsoft TFS or Azure DevOps
● Administration of Microsoft Team Foundation
● Configuration and applications deployment
● Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner. Capacity to raise clear issues/problems to developer or to dedicated teams for resolution
● Recommend deployment process improvements (analysis, automation, procedures) in order to improve deployment service quality
● Assist in the deployment plan

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
● Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or related field
● At least (3) years of experience in a Development or Deployment Engineer position
● DevOps certification is a plus
● Customer oriented
● Capacity to analyze and be structured
● Good procedures writer
● Ability to work independently yet within Delivery and integration service guidelines
● Candidate must be open to report onsite at least 3x a week in Alabang.

Required Technical Skills:
● Microsoft TFS / Azure DevOps Solution - CI/CD (Mandatory)
● Windows Server (mandatory)
● Web application servers (Microsoft IIS) (mandatory)
● Script languages: PowerShell (Mandatory)

Nice to Have Technical Skills:
● Linux (option)
● Cloud solution knowledge: AWS, Azure
● Development tools knowledge: Microsoft C#
● Database: Microsoft SQL, SQL Query (Basic knowledge)
● File transfer protocol: FTP, Shares, or any other solution
