QA Software Engineer (Hybrid Work Set Up)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive test plans outlining testing approach, scope, resources, and schedule for software projects.

Execute test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.

Implement and maintain automated testing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in repetitive test scenarios.

Identify, document, and track defects through testing phases, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Perform performance testing to assess the responsiveness, stability, and scalability of software applications.

Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure that software products meet security standards.

Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential quality issues.

Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test results, and testing progress reports.

Other related tasks assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related courses.

Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks.

Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) to create and maintain automated test scripts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address software defects and performance issues.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams and effectively communicate testing results and recommendations.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure thorough testing coverage.

Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and shifting priorities.
