Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic team-player who thrives in developing and establishing processes for our local accounting operations. The Accounting Assistant will support the Philippine operations in its accounting administrative needs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Prepare and process submission of documents to government agencies.
Update and maintain employer portal for SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig; encoding employee details for new hires; generation of PRN for SSS and SPA for Philhealth on a monthly basis.
Validation of documents from vendor/supplier (SOA, Quotations, invoices, delivery receipts, etc.)
Recording transactions and making sure liquidation is accurate and with complete receipts.
Making sure that day-to-day transaction documents are complete and properly filed.
Process bank transactions.
Assist employee’s request (summary of statutory contribution, proof of payment, loan details, etc.)
Update and maintain various financial spreadsheets and reporting
Generates and processes bi-monthly payroll of employees in coordination with HRD
Perform other related duties general administrative tasks

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Associate's degree or relevant experience may be considered).

EXPERIENCE:

At least 6 months to 2 years of experience with basic accounting functions as an Accounting Associate / Staff Some experience
