Job Description
Location: Makati City
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (occasional client calls may extend hours)
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated web scraping solutions and data pipelines
• Build scalable systems for data collection, processing, and storage
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify efficient technical approaches
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Ensure continuity and quality in data collection processes
• Participate in process improvements and infrastructure enhancements
• Support production tasks such as database and server cleanup
• Contribute to team metrics and reporting
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on Python development experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in web scraping
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JavaScript, JSON/XML
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems
• Experience working directly with overseas clients
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Bonus: Experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js
• Bonus: Exposure to Jira and Jenkins
• Excellent communication skills in English
