POSITION: Production Engineer
SECTION/GROUP: BEA/Production
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for supervising and managing subordinates involved in one or more of the product lines, such as assembly, testing, inspection, and repair. Ensures that product lines are ready and can respond to production requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervises and manages subordinates and their activities to measure performance based on standards, behavior, and disciplines to respond to production requirements.
• Leadership and supervisory skills
• Knowledge of production processes, standards, and requirements
• Knowledge and implementation of company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of subordinates’ performance, behavior, and skills status
• Knowledge of the competency requirements of subordinates
• Conduct of employee communication/discussion of performance infractions and other matters
• Human relations skills

• Know how to handle confidential matters
2. Implements the production schedule, monitors, and regulates production input and output to meet shipment schedules. Makes the necessary adjustments.
• Ability to manage available resources and strategies based on production schedule
• Supervisory Skills
3. Ensures that maximum productivity from materials and equipment is met; keep to a minimum level of wastage of materials, man-hours, and power consumption.
• Knowledge of performance standards of men and equipment
• Knowledge of the tolerable level of inventory of materials
• Knowledge of the minimum acceptable level of wastage
• Enforcement of work methods
• Application of 4M, method of production
• Application of Basic SPC, PSDM, and QC Tools
4. Supports the Process Engineer in the conduct of line evaluation and computation of material consumption.
• Analytical skills for evaluating line performance
• Application of Basic SPC, PSDM, and QC Tools
• Can propose line improvements
5. Ensures the compliance of production personnel with established and approved work standards, processes, and safety requirements.
• Supervisory skills
• Knowledge of Quality System procedure
• Knowledge of production processes
• Implements and enforces quality system standards, work processes, and safety policies and procedures
6. Checks and approves required reports from subordinates. Prepares and submits regular reports and other reports to the immediate superior.
• Check timely submission of reports, check
integrity and contents of reports, and provide proper feedback
• Report writing skills (formal and content)
• Computer Skills
7. Coordinates with own work unit and other work units on specific work/production requirements.
• Interpersonal relationship skills

8. Follows, implements, and maintains the Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Safety policies and procedures of the company. Ensures proper housekeeping within the area of responsibility.
• Knowledge and implementation of ISO, EMS, and Safety policies and procedures
• Knowledge and implementation of 5S principles.
Education: Engineering Graduate ( ME, ECE, EE, IE)
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the related industry
Others: Computer Literate and Strong Leadership Skills
