Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Be a team player with exceptional communication skills.
• Work collaboratively in hybrid and agile teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives.
• Be part of a supportive culture with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Design, create, execute, analyze, manual and automated tests both for ongoing delivery as well as regression testing.
• Collaborate on test plans with Product Owners and Business UAT stakeholders.
• Write UI test automation scripts using Playwright to enhance the automation coverage.
• Support other Test Analysts on their automation scripts and peer review their changes.
• Research test tools and complete proof of concept to introduce back into the QA community.
• Write clear bug reports quickly and concisely and collaborate with developers on fixes.
• Execute exploratory testing.
• Have access to training opportunities: courses, GoodHabitz & Udemy .
• Your responsibilities may evolve to align to business needs and future changes.
• Work with a whole bunch of talented people in Steadfast Technologies and the wider Steadfast Group, as well as externally with customers, partners, and vendors.
• Consistent quality assurance practice, processes, and procedures.
• Agile ways of working with strong collaboration across teams and particularly, development and integration delivery.
• Identification of iterative improvements so we adapt, pivot, and continually deliver efficient, high-quality service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Willing to work for a 12 -months contract employment. (7AM to 4PM shift, 2days RTO, 3days WFH and weekends off).
• In-depth expertise and experience with Functional, Non-Functional and Automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Typescript, JavaScript, and with high interest to grow and learn with the Team.
• Recent extensive UI and API automation scripting experience with a strong understanding of what test scope needs to be automated.
• Knowledge of automation testing approaches, Unit Test / Page Object Model / OOP / BDD / Keyword driven testing.
• Recent experience with Testing frameworks such as Playwright and Postman.
• Passionate about the testing industry and have a solid understanding on practices, such as risk-based, shift left testing, non-functional testing and high-value testing.
• Exposure to test management and issue reporting systems, e.g. TestRail, and JIRA.
• You are proactive, always curious, hungry to learn and passionate to grow with the QA community.
• You are flexible, reliable and have a can-do attitude.
• You appreciate open communication and value feedback.
• Hands-on experience using continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and building automation test pipelines (desirable).
• Experience in handling Cypress and Selenium.
• Maximum offer will be only given to candidates with work experience in Test automation for at least 5 years or higher.
