Job Description
• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within the designated section.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications as directed by the Chef De Partie or higher management.
• Ensure that all dishes prepared and served are of consistent quality and meet the company’s standards.
• Maintain portion control and minimize waste.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
• Ensure that the kitchen and all work areas are clean and sanitized at all times.
• Follow all food hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and report any shortages to the Chef De Partie.
• Ensure that all food items are stored correctly and used within their expiry dates.
• Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist with the training and development of junior kitchen staff as required.
• Contribute ideas for menu improvements and new dishes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and culinary techniques.
