Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Small Appliances Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain household small appliances such as blenders, rice cookers, electric fans, toasters, microwave ovens, flat irons, and other similar devices. The technician must be knowledgeable in basic electronics, electrical safety standards, and common troubleshooting techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, and diagnose issues in small household appliances.
Repair or replace defective parts (e.g., motors, switches, cords, heating elements).
Perform preventive maintenance on appliances.
Provide cost estimates for repairs and explain issues to customers.
Maintain proper documentation of work performed and parts used.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Coordinate with suppliers for parts replacement if needed.
Qualifications:
TESDA NC II Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Consumer Electronics Servicing, or related field is preferred.
At least 1–2 years of experience in appliance repair or a related role.
Knowledge in diagnosing and repairing various small appliances.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Physically fit and capable of handling tools and small equipment.
Preferred Skills:
Background in appliance product testing or quality assurance
Familiarity with ISO standards or electrical safety codes
Experience in technical documentation or reporting tools
Ability to suggest modifications or design improvements
Salary Range: PHP560 daily rate
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
