Job Description
Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) Specialist to help shape and drive IT service processes across support, infrastructure, and operations teams. This role will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of ITSM practices, with a strong focus on tools, workflows, and cross-team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and govern ITSM processes and frameworks across the organization
Act as product owner for the ITSM tool (e.g. Freshservice, ServiceNow, or similar)
Define and monitor SLAs, OLAs, and key metrics
Develop and execute an ITSM improvement roadmap
Design and optimize workflows, ensuring efficiency and usability
Provide coaching and training to IT team members and stakeholders
Coordinate with third-party service providers and internal teams
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within IT operations
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience managing or implementing ITSM frameworks in a large IT environment
Solid understanding of ITIL (preferably certified in ITIL 4)
Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.
Experience in project management (certification like PMP or Prince2 is a plus)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and IT continuity planning
Strong communication skills and ability to work across functional teams
Experience working in international or cross-cultural environments is a plus
