The role ensures project delivery within budget while meeting quality and timeline expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates based on project specifications and drawings
- Develop and monitor project budgets
- Track and control project costs and forecast expenditures
- Conduct value engineering and propose cost-saving measures
- Support tendering and procurement activities
- Generate cost reports, cash flows, and change order logs
- Perform cost risk analysis and recommend contingencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a cost engineer or quantity surveyor
- Proficient in cost estimation and project control tools (e.g., Excel, Primavera, Candy)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
