Job Description
* Coordinate reports on environmental incidents, dangerous occurrences, injuries and accidents.
* Monitor and prepare reports to government agencies including but not limited to DENR.
* Conduct site induction, training forum and toolbox talk, as appropriate, to provide instruction on specific Environmental, Safety and Health concerns.
*Assist the team with the assessment and production of suitable environmental and safety measures, method statements and reports to satisfy the requirements of this plan.
* Stay abreast of the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) and Project requirements on pollution control.
* Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source.
* Attend to the requirements of the establishment or agency prior to the construction.
* Perform such other duties and tasks as maybe assigned from time to time by the Management
Qualification:
* A bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field is typically required.
* Environmental certifications: Certifications such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) can demonstrate expertise in the field.
* Regulatory knowledge: A deep understanding of environmental regulations, such as those related to air pollution, water pollution, and waste management, is crucial.
* Technical skills: Proficiency in using environmental monitoring equipment, data analysis tools, and software is essential.
* Experience: Practical experience in pollution control, environmental compliance, or a related field can be valuable. Other Qualifications Knowledge of IFC PS requirements is preferred.
