The fundamental duty of a salesman is selling. This duty includes meeting the prospects, presenting and demonstrating the products, inducing the prospects to buy, taking orders and effecting sales. Calling customers or existing customers is one of the main duties of a salesman. It means keeping in touch with your customers which is also referred to as “Keeping accounts alive”.
