JOB OPENING: Medical Records Staff (with ICD-10 Knowledge)
Location: Makati City
Job Summary:
The Medical Records Staff is responsible for managing, organizing, and securing patient medical records and documents. The role requires expertise in ICD-10 coding to ensure accurate and standardized classification of diagnoses and medical procedures for billing, documentation, and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
-Graduate of BS in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related medical courses
-Must have knowledge and experience with ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
-At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
-Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
-Knowledge in PhilHealth documentation and encoding is an advantage
-Proficient in using EMR/EHR systems and MS Office
-Excellent communication and coordination skills
-Willing to work in Makati City
Key Responsibilities:
-Assign and verify ICD-10 codes for diagnoses and procedures in patient records
-Organize, file, and update patient medical documents and charts
-Ensure confidentiality and proper storage of all medical records
-Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and billing teams for accurate documentation
-Prepare records for audits, PhilHealth claims, and insurance processing
-Maintain accurate logs of patient visits, procedures, and coding activities
-Assist in tracking and retrieving charts as needed by the medical team
-Support compliance with data privacy and healthcare documentation standards
