Job Position: Wood Carpenter
Job Description:
● Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project
requirements.
● Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials accurately using hand
tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
● Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, partitions, floors, doors,
cabinets, stairs, and furniture.
● Fit and install hardware, hinges, locks, and handles.
● Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props using nails, screws,
staples, or adhesives.
● Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures as required.
● Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety standards and building codes.
● Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
● Collaborate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and other trades.
● Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Job Qualifications:
● At least High School graduate.
● Vocational course or TESDA certificate in Carpentry is an advantage.
● With 1-2 years carpentry experience (construction, furniture making, repairs).
● Can read measurements and basic drawings.
● Knows how to use hand tools and power tools safely.
● Physically fit for manual work.
● Hardworking, honest, and can work with minimal supervision.
Salary Range: 560 php daily rate
