Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks

Use Azure Storage (Blob, Data Lake Gen2) for managing data outputs

Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and architects to meet data requirements

Ensure performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in data workflows

Validate and troubleshoot data issues

Maintain CI/CD deployments via Azure DevOps

Document configurations and follow best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

2–3 years' experience in data engineering or ETL development

Proficiency in Azure (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Blob Storage)

Strong SQL skills (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)

Understanding of software engineering (CI/CD, Git, testing)

Familiarity with Spark and PySpark

Preferred:

Strong Python skills (Scala, Java, or C# also accepted)

Experience with file formats: Parquet, Delta, Avro

Familiar with querying APIs, using Ansible, Azure DevOps Pipelines

Understanding of Azure infrastructure and Git workflows

Learning agility and ability to lead technical initiatives
