Key Responsibilities:
Set up, configure, and maintain audio equipment used in call centers, conference rooms, training facilities, and AV-enabled workspaces.
Monitor and ensure optimal sound quality for VoIP systems, headsets, microphones, intercoms, and speaker systems.
Troubleshoot audio-related issues affecting call quality, recording systems, or virtual meetings (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).
Work closely with IT and operations teams to support audio needs for training sessions, client meetings, and internal events.
Calibrate and test headsets and other peripherals to ensure compatibility with telephony platforms (e.g., Avaya, Cisco, Genesys).
Maintain inventory of audio devices and recommend replacements/upgrades as needed.
Support live and virtual corporate events, ensuring smooth operation of audio/video systems.
Keep documentation of equipment configurations, maintenance logs, and technical procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an audio technician or AV support role, preferably within a BPO or corporate environment.
Familiarity with VoIP telephony systems and unified communications tools.
Hands-on experience with microphones, headsets, mixers, conferencing systems, and acoustic troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of networking concepts and IT support practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications in AV/IT support (e.g., CTS, CompTIA A+) are a plus.
Experience with platforms like Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Avaya.
Working Conditions:
May require flexibility to work in shifts to support 24/7 operations.
Occasional on-call support during critical escalations or events.
Must be able to lift and carry equipment as needed.
