Job Description
This role is key to supporting the company’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You’ll help guide strategic decisions by providing clear financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
-Create and manage financial models for budgeting and forecasting
-Analyze claims, underwriting results, and other insurance metrics (e.g., loss ratios, reserve adequacy)
-Prepare monthly to annual financial reports with analysis for management
-Work closely with actuarial, underwriting, and claims teams to align financial data
-Monitor key insurance metrics such as combined ratio, policy retention, and expenses
-Assist in regulatory reporting (e.g., IFRS 17 compliance)
-Support business planning, financial forecasts, and new initiatives
-Analyze reinsurance-related financials (premiums, losses, income, and expenses)
-Prepare reports on profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow for reinsurance
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
-CPA or CFA preferred
-At least 3 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in insurance
-Strong understanding of nonlife insurance financials and key industry metrics
-Proficient in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Inforsun)
-Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
-Amenable to work in Mandaluyong or Pasay
