Job Description

We're seeking for a talented Accounting Manager with strong experience in external auditor accounting firms, and a deep understanding of the regulatory and tax environment affecting PEZA- and BOI- registered entities. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance with tax laws and other statutory reportorial requirements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and leading accounting operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure full compliance with all BIR, PEZA, BOI, and SEC regulations, including timely submission of tax and statutory reports.
Manage and oversee the company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings, including VAT, income tax, withholding taxes, and other applicable government dues.
Maintain strong liaison with external auditors, accounting consultants, and government agencies.
Review and ensure accuracy of all financial statements and reports in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
Supervise general accounting functions including GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
Prepare and review supporting schedules for audits and government inspections.
Monitor compliance with PEZA and/or BOI incentives and related reporting requirements.
Lead the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of financial records.
Support strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Manage and mentor the accounting team, promoting continuous development and process improvement.
Perform general administrative tasks to support the needs of the office and the employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•   Bachelor's degree in accountancy; CPA is required.

•   At least 4 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably with exposure in external auditor public accounting firms.

•   Experience working with PEZA and/or BOI-registered companies is highly preferred.

•   In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

•   Proficient in using accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar ERP platforms).

•   Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.

•   Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
Salary:
₱55,000.00 Monthly
