Graphic Designer with Experience in Signage & Large-Format Print

✦ Job Description:

A company specializing in the production of various types of signage — including 3D signage, illuminated and non-illuminated raised letters, and the design and construction of commercial spaces — is seeking a talented Graphic Designer with hands-on experience in preparing production-ready files, including for laser cutting, CNC, and plotter machines.

The role involves designing marketing materials, signage layouts, and files optimized for production processes, with an emphasis on precision and adherence to technical standards.

✦ Requirements:

Full proficiency in Adobe Illustrator – required*

Proven experience in signage systems and large-format printing – required*

Practical experience preparing files for CNC, laser cutting, and plotter machines – required*

* High attention to detail, technical accuracy, and ability to work independently

* Strong understanding of measurements, scaling, and production file preparation

Experience working with print shops or production teams – advantage*

Experience with ArtCAM – advantage*

✦ Preferred Qualifications (Advantage):

* Familiarity with additional design tools such as Photoshop, InDesign

Background in architectural design, interior design, or commercial space planning – advantage*

Experience in designing complementary objects in the context of carpentry/metalwork (e.g., sales booths, counters, tables, cabinets, shelving units) – strong advantage*

* Experience working with business clients on branding and signage projects

Note: A background in industrial design is less relevant for this role
