Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse setting.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP).
Ability to operate and train staff on warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams, vendors, and suppliers.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, warehouse software, etc.).
Physical & Other Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods efficiently.
Manage Inventory: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, track incoming and outgoing shipments, and minimize discrepancies.
Ensure Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, company policies, and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance. Assign tasks and monitor progress.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained, serviced, and used properly.
Optimize Warehouse Layout: Organize storage space to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
Coordinate Shipments: Work with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
Report & Document Operations: Generate reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and staff performance for management review.
Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
