Job Description
Includes the following; but not limited to other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Implement new ways of managing the facilities that reduce costs and improve efficiency,
productivity, safety and environment.
• Implement decisions concerning the purchase of new equipment, use of services of new
vendor or service contractor, facility renovation, enacting energy-saving or waste
reducing policies, updating contracts and manuals related to operations, or cost savings
to stay on budget.
• Attest the viability of service level agreements of contractors and service providers as
required for business permits, accreditations, licenses and renewal of contracts subject
to the final approval of the department head and/or top level management.
• Must be able to continually monitor the Unit for compliance with safety, health and
environmental regulations.
• Coordinate efforts with company security personnel as well as law enforcement
representatives to ensure that the Unit is not a risk from health or environmental dangers.
Safety and security checks may apply to electrical systems, security and fire alarms,
maintenance of machinery and outdoor grounds.
• Implement and monitor guidelines and procedures for emergency preparedness to
protect both the physical facility and personnel subject to all mandatory coordination with
the Department Head
• Collate relevant data pertaining to periodic F&E activities as part of facilities monitoring
records and equipment.
• Timely evaluation of gathered data related to F&E and subsequently report findings and
its resolution and/or correction.
• Conduct periodic tools and equipment inventory and ensure that all
materials/tools/machineries are in good working condition
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or equivalent related experience 3-5 years as
Supervisor, handling Facility and Kitchen Equipments
• Above average skill in both verbal and written communication as well as good acumen
in business and technical related writing.
• Ability to exercise above average mathematical skills in all units of measure, using
whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and
to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Above average numerical competencies in statistics, schedule of electrical loads and
related computations.
• Able to interpret Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Diagram. Computer Literate, able
to make reports using MS Office, Excellent Mechanical understanding in Internal
Combustion Engine
• Employee must be a licensed engineer with valid Professional Regulatory Commission
credentials.
• Employee with other accreditation, certification or advance studies in the same field
and related discipline is an advantage.
• In good physical well being, able to handle long distance walking and stair climbing
activities.
