The Job:

1. Develop, test and support a financial application
2. Conduct code reviews, identify and resolve technical debt, and maintain coding standards
3. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolutions
4. Refactor the codebase ensuring nothing gets broken

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Proven experience 5+ years developing Android applications in Kotlin
2. Preferably has leadership experience
3. Strong proficiency in Jetpack Compose as well as XML-based layouts
4. Great understanding of SOLID, Clean Architecture and MVVM pattern
5. Great understanding of Kotlin coroutines and Flows
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills
7. Experience with unit testing
8. Ability to work with legacy code and understand the nuances involved with such codebases
9. Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
10. Familiarity with CI / CD Will be a plus
11. Expert in Kotlin
12. Previous experience refactoring applications
