DevOps Engineer Makati

Location: One Ayala Makati, Philippines
Working Hours: 8:00 pm to 5:00 am or 9:00 pm to 6:00 am (Night Shift)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Work Set-up: On-site working environment

Responsibilities:
•Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on GCP.
•Utilize GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
•Set up and maintain network configurations, security policies, and IAM roles.
•Containerize Python/Django applications using Docker.
•Orchestrate container deployments using Kubernetes (GKE) for high availability and scalability.
•Implement best practices for container orchestration and management.
•Implement monitoring and logging solutions using GCP Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
•Ensure proactive monitoring of application performance, availability, and security.
•Set up alerts and dashboards to provide visibility into system health and performance.
•Work closely with data scientists and developers to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
•Provide support for development, testing, and production environments.
•Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
•Software Developer and It Operations.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
•Experience in a DevOps role, preferably in a GCP environment.
•Strong proficiency with GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, etc.).
•Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
•Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
•Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
•Proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
•Solid understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
•Familiarity with setting up and managing databases (SQL and NoSQL).
•Experience implementing security best practices in cloud environments.
•Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) policies.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
•Ability to document processes, architectures, and infrastructure setups clearly.
•Experience with Python/Django application deployment and management.
•Knowledge of data science and machine learning workflows.
•Certification in Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
•Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
•Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
•Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, load balancing, and DNS.
