Job Description
The Accounting Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective internal controls. This role is responsible for managing a team of accountants and bookkeepers, preparing financial statements, and coordinating audits and tax filings.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is highly preferred).
• Minimum [5+] years of progressive accounting experience, with at least [2+] years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and relevant regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
