Job Description
*Accomplish financial month-end activities and prepare financial reports.
*Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
*Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and internal control procedures.
*Coordinate with external government agencies for mandatory requirements such as, but not limited to, BIR, SSS, DTI, Municipal Taxation, PhilHealth, etc.
*Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
*Prepare and review budgets, revenues, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
*Analyze revenue and expenditure trends, recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
*Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
*Resolve accounting discrepancies.
*Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
*Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
*Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
*Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
*Having a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) is an advantage
*At least 2 years of relevant work experience is required for this position
*Able to deliver satisfactory results in a fast-paced environment
*Must be keen to details with a strong sense of urgency
*Has the ability to do multi-tasking
*Reliable and able to meet deadlines
*Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
*Excellent in both oral & written English communication
*Must be HONEST, HARDWORKING, CONFIDENT and POSSESSES GOOD WORKING ATTITUDE
