Job Description

Location: Cebu City
Work Setup: Onsite
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in medical coding following the American Medical Association CPT guidelines
National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) proficiency
ICD 10/CPT/HCPS codes
PHRN

Job Responsibilities:
• Review claims for errors and rejections and correct them as needed.
• Should be excellent in the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI)
• Edits, Global Edits, and Correct Coding or ICD-10-CM Edits.
• Should be able to code ICD 10/CPT/HCPS codes to ensure revenue codes are appropriate.
• Should handle custom edits that cover additional requirements, including payer, specialty, provider, or location-specific edits.
• Should handle edits that are sourced and explained at the level of code-to-code relationships and based on American Medical Association CPT guidelines, CMS guidelines, and Correct Coding
• Initiatives, commercial and Medicare code sets, medical societies, and other widely accepted third-party sources.
• Review medical records and obtain necessary information to support a valid code series.
