POSITION: Medical Coder
WORK SET UP : Onsite
Location: Cebu City (Lexmark or Skyrise)
WORK SCHEDULE: 9am - 6pm Day Shift
SALARY PACKAGE: ₱45,000 - ₱60,000

RESPONSIBILITIES
Review claims for errors and rejections and correct them as needed.
Should be excellent in National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI)
Edits, Global Edits, and Correct Coding or ICD-10-CM Edits.
Should be able to code ICD 10/CPT/HCPS codes to ensure revenue codes are appropriate.
Should handle custom edits cover additional requirements including payer, specialty, provider, or location specific edits.
Should handle edits that are sourced and explained at the level of code-to-code relationships and based on American Medical Association CPT guidelines, CMS guidelines, Correct Coding
Initiatives, commercial and Medicare code sets, medical societies, and other widely accepted third-party
sources.
Review medical records and obtain necessary information to support valid code series

REQUIREMENTS
At least 1 year experience in medical coding following American Medical Association CPT guidelines
National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) proficiency
ICD 10/CPT/HCPS codes
