Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager / Specialist with a solid understanding of the Australian market to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to Australian audiences
Create, curate, and schedule high-quality content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments/messages, and engage with the online community
Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports with actionable insights
Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices relevant to the Australian market
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns
Support in paid advertising efforts (Meta, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) when necessary
Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and tone, and adheres to platform guidelines
Qualifications:
At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
Strong understanding of Australian brands, market trends, and audience behavior
Australian market experience is a plus, but not required – candidates without Australian background are welcome to apply
Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later)
Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite)
Strong communication skills
Ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
Creative thinker with an eye for design and detail
Ability to work onsite and available to start immediately
