Job Description
The Accounting Section Chief is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the accounting department and effectively managing the company's financial activities. This role requires extensive experience and expertise in areas such as communication with audit firms, compliance with BIR regulations, and cost accounting.
Job Details:
Supervise and provide leadership for accounting operations.
Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial reports.
Manage communication with audit firms, oversee audit processes, and review audit reports.
Handle BIR filings and compliance, perform tax-related duties.
Conduct cost accounting and ensure accuracy.
Propose and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
Mentor, coach, and evaluate team members.
Maintain smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.
There is an accounting manager, but will likely retire soon, so the company wants to hire a person above the current one and train them as a future manager.
Over 5 years of experience in accounting.
Experience with BIR filings and compliance.
Experience in communicating with audit firms and managing audit processes.
Leadership and management experience.
Excellent communication skills and team-building abilities.
Experience in a manufacturing company
Interview: 1. WEB interview with Japanese Executive and the local HR manager, 2. F2F with executives
Working Days: Monday~Friday (once a month on Saturday) 8:00~17:00
With Shuttle bus (There is a shuttle, and the departure time is determined, so there will be mostly no overtime these days)
