Hotel Maintenance Staff / Handyman

Grand Sierra Pines Hotel is looking for a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Staff member to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will handle general repair tasks, assist in preventive maintenance, and respond to maintenance requests promptly to ensure a comfortable experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, repair work, or a similar role.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
Physically fit and able to lift, climb, and perform manual labor.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Must be male/female (due to physical demands of the role).
Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the hotel premises.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests from guests or other departments.
Inspect and maintain equipment, tools, and systems to ensure safety and proper operation.
Assist in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work as needed.
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and report when restocking is needed.
Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, safe, and orderly.
Report any major repair needs or safety hazards to the Supervisor or Management.
Support the Engineering and Housekeeping teams as necessary.
