Key Responsibilities:
-Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure services for 30+ development teams.
-Develop and manage infrastructure as code.
-Debugging runtime issues and solving complex problems under the radar or in the heat of fatal system incidents
-Participate in on-call rotations.
-Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support scalable and secure applications.
-Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth infrastructure operations.
-Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
-Implement best practices for security, reliability, and performance.
-Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
-5+ years of experience in a platform engineering or similar role.
-Proficiency in at least one programming language
-Extensive experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code provider
-In-depth experience with AWS cloud services.
-Excellent skills in Linux
-Having worked with at least one Database product, preferably Mongodb or Elasticsearch
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
-Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
-In Depth knowledge of networking and TCP/IP
-Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Go or Java.
-Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
-Strong experience in observability platforms like Promethus, Elastic APM, InfluxDB and Grafana
