Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for conducting laboratory tests and inspections to ensure that raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet the company's quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role involves data analysis, documentation, and assisting in identifying non-conformances, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality products.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established procedures and specifications.
2. Record and analyze test results accurately. Prepare reports and maintain detailed and organized documentation in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP.
3. Assist in investigating out-of-specification results, deviations, or non-conformances, and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) implementation.
4. Collect and test product and environmental samples as required. Conduct inspections of packaging materials, labeling, and product integrity.
5. Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
6. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO, HACCP). Follow all laboratory safety protocols.
7. Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documentation, records, and technical explanations.
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for quality control processes and testing methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Chemical Technician
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory environment (entry-level candidates with strong academic background may be considered)
- Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques, quality standards, and regulatory compliance in GLP, GMP, Food Safety, HACCP and ISO.
- Proficient in MS Office and laboratory software (LIMS is a plus)
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Salary:
- ₱20,000.00 Monthly
