Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Customer Service Representative - Japanese for a project-based role based in Cebu. In this position, you will provide exceptional virtual support to Japanese-speaking test takers during online examination sessions. As a Proctor, you will ensure the integrity of each testing session, guide test takers through the exam process, and intervene when necessary to uphold compliance with exam protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proctor and monitor virtual exams, including guiding test takers through start-up, exam submission, and log-out processes.
- Manage and facilitate multiple testing sessions simultaneously.
- Act as a liaison between test takers and internal operations teams to resolve any connectivity, video, audio, or technical issues.
- Initiate and document Active Interventions during exam sessions to prevent breaches of test integrity (e.g., addressing off-screen behavior, unpermitted materials, unauthorized persons in the room).
- Request rescan of the test environment or adjustments to lighting and camera positioning.
- Maintain accurate and timely logs of all incidents and interventions during the exam.
- Handle other tasks or special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluent in Japanese and English (verbal and written)
- Available to work remotely with a reliable internet connection
- At least 1 year of customer service or phone support experience preferred (open to applicants without prior call center experience)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills
- Technically proficient with basic computer operations and typing
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and process integrity
- Flexible to work during different time zones or shifting schedules, as needed
