Safety Officer III / Scaffolding Inspector

Job Description:
We are urgently hiring a Safety Officer III / Scaffolding Inspector for our active construction projects. This dual-role position is essential for enforcing safety protocols and ensuring scaffolding structures meet all required safety and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As Safety Officer III (Construction Site):
Enforce compliance with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS)

Conduct daily site inspections, safety orientations, and toolbox meetings

Monitor proper use of PPE and safe work practices across the site

Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure incident reporting

Submit required safety documentation, reports, and permits to management and DOLE

As Scaffolding Inspector:
Inspect scaffolding systems during erection, use, and dismantling

Ensure compliance with construction scaffolding standards

Certify scaffolds are safe for use and issue permits

Maintain scaffolding logs, inspection reports, and tagging systems

Coordinate with foremen, engineers, and scaffolding teams on safety requirements

Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction safety and scaffolding inspection

Valid DOLE Safety Officer III Certification

Certified Scaffolding Inspector

Knowledgeable in local construction safety codes and scaffold safety standards

Physically fit and able to work at heights

Strong leadership and communication skills
