Job Description
LOCATION: Nueva Ecija
SETUP: Onsite, Day shift
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the onsite execution of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project integrated with a large-scale solar power plant. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of BESS construction and a strong background in managing large-scale renewable energy projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all onsite construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction management of BESS for solar or renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar power plant and battery storage technologies.
- Experience managing EPC contractors and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in construction management tools and MS Office (Primavera, MS Project, etc. a plus).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Willing to be based onsite in Nueva Ecija for the duration of the 2-year contract.
- Familiarity with Philippine construction regulations, safety standards, and permitting processes is an advantage.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with LG Chem, Tesla, Sungrow, or similar BESS products.
- Prior experience working in rural or off-grid project locations.
