Data Processing Associate

Job description:

1. Annotation of all types of data
a. Pixel annotation
b. Bounding Boxes, polygons, dots, lines, ellipses, cuboid, lidar, contouring and
any tools that can be used to annotate
c. Annotation of frames within a video
d. Annotation of sound clips / audio clips
e. Categorization of objects in an image
f. Open text annotation based on text found in an image (copying characters in
an image or video)
g. Adding metadata regarding objects in an image
h. Tagging or timestamp
i. Lidar or Spatial (3D Images)

2. Provide judgement on image, video and audio tasks:
a. Identify and Transcribe of human speech
b. Identification of non-human sound events in an audio/video
c. Segmentation / cutting of audio/video data based on prescribed instructions
d. Provide judgement and identify the components of an audio, video or image
based on prescribed guidelines
e. Rating of data
f. Content moderation of sensitive contents

3. Transcription
a. To listen to audio files and other sounds
b. To accurately transcribe speech or other sounds
c. Text transcription
d. Grading, Research and Root cause analysis
e. Creation of transcription summary
f. To tag and timestamp based on project guidelines

4. Quality Checking of data
a. Review and complete phases of annotation
b. Review/correction of pre-annotated content (Image, video and audio), data
collected or transcribed.

5. Data Collection
a. All data processing related to data collection.
b. Special data collection projects

6. Voice
a. Call outs, research, or data processing.

7. Adherence to Data & Information Security
a. ISO standards, PEZA, DPA and all other global requirements on data security
of Appen.

8. Reports
a. Summary of tasks accomplished.

Performance is measured on the following:
a) Rate per hour or throughput
b) Quality
c) Attendance
d) Behavioral
