Job Description
Conduct field surveys to establish property boundaries and topographical data.
Use surveying instruments and tools (e.g., GPS, theodolites, total stations) to collect measurements.
Analyze survey data and prepare reports, maps, drawings, and legal descriptions.
Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and construction managers to support planning and design processes.
Ensure all surveying work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain detailed records of survey results and update databases and maps as needed.
Perform land title research and review legal documents to determine property boundaries.
Operate drone or remote sensing equipment (if applicable) to conduct aerial surveys.
Provide site layout and staking for construction projects.
