Medical Transcriptionist

Responsibilities:

Transcribe medical dictation from physicians and healthcare providers into accurate written reports.
Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammar, clarity, consistency, and correct medical terminology.
Ensure timely delivery of completed documents while meeting quality and confidentiality standards.
Review reports for inconsistencies or missing information and verify with dictating provider when necessary.
Use transcription software and electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Required Skills:

Completed 4-year medical-allied course
Minimum of 2-years of experience in medical transcription
Familiarity with medical terminology, including Grossing, Microscopic, and Final Diagnosis descriptions.
Proficient in using LIS or LigoLab or similar laboratory information systems.
Comfortable with keyboard shortcuts and macro-based tools for efficiency.
Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors in transcription or formatting.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proven skills in typing quickly with high accuracy in transcribing the medical records
Medical transcription certification is a plus.

This position will be working with global business solutions company specializing in Environmental Risk & Compliance, Sustainability & ESG, and Business Process & Impact Sourcing.
Working Set-up: Onsite
Mondays to Fridays.
