Job Title: Accounting Associate (Australian Experience Required)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Sto. Domingo, Angeles City
Reports To: Client

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Associate with solid exposure to Australian accounting practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations, and supporting clients or internal teams in financial processes. Proficiency in Xero and MYOB is essential, as well as experience with ATO lodgments and loan processing.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and other ATO compliance requirements
Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Maintain and update accounting records in Xero and MYOB
Assist with loan applications, compiling financial documents, and liaising with brokers or lenders
Perform payroll processing and superannuation calculations in accordance with Fair Work requirements
Handle GST reconciliation and adjustments
Respond to client queries regarding accounting and tax matters
Ensure all work complies with Australian Accounting Standards and ATO regulations
Support year-end closing and audits
Maintain accurate records and document financial transactions

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years experience in Australian accounting practices
Experience with Xero and MYOB
Strong knowledge of Australian Taxation Office (ATO) processes and compliance requirements
Familiarity with loan processing, financial documentation, and bank/broker coordination
Experience in payroll processing, BAS, IAS, and Superannuation
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Candidate must be willing to work in Angeles City (Remote option is not applicable)
