Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor with solid experience in cost estimation and related construction works. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling industry pressures effectively and demonstrate strong leadership qualities. The successful applicant will contribute to accurate cost control, project budgeting, and overall project success in compliance with Philippine construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for various construction projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and deadlines.
• Assist in tendering activities, including bid analysis and negotiations.
• Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to establish project scope and cost strategies.
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities and ensure work complies with specifications and standards.
• Manage variation orders, claim, and change orders efficiently.
• Ensure all works meet Philippine construction industry standards, safety, and quality requirements.
• Lead or support junior team members, fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Handle industry pressures with professionalism, maintaining accuracy and efficiency under tight deadlines.
• Prepare progress reports, cost forecasts, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience of 3 to 5 years in cost estimation, quantity surveying, or project control within the Philippine construction industry. We also welcome applications from fresh graduates who are eager to learn and grow in the field.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to support or manage teams.
• Strong understanding of Philippine construction standards, codes, and contractual practices.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying and estimating software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Licensed Quantity Surveyor (LQS) is highly preferred.
• Experience in diverse project types such as commercial, industrial, or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of local procurement processes and contractual frameworks.

Others:

• The salary range for this position is ₱27,000 to ₱30,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and background.
