Job Description

The Engineer ITSM will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and solutions. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The main responsibilities of an ENGINEER ITSM (SERVICENOW) include:
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules to meet business requirements
• Integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems and applications using REST/SOAP APIs
• Manage and maintain the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Create and maintain custom workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes
• Maintain close interactions with global Information Technology team members
• Adhere to architecture standards
• Provide training opportunities to build the skills of IT employees and ensure their ongoing ability to provide effective global support
• Seek opportunities to utilize technology to improve operations, increase productivity, ensure accuracy, and reduce costs
• Represent Global IT internally and to external customers and peers
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve service quality
• High focus on customer service and user satisfaction
• Handle administrative processes and travel management
• Create documentation, user guides, and presentations
• Ensure implementation and compliance with Quality Management requirements
• Fulfill the requirements outlined in the safety manual, personnel handbook, and all regulatory guidelines
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
• Advanced problem-solving ability
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript
• Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts
• ServiceNow certification
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages preferred)
• Advanced service and project management skills
• Experience with modern IT services and hands-on design and implementation
• Team player with the ability to work in a virtual and distributed team
• Ability to collaborate with people from culturally diverse backgrounds
