Job Description
· Develop comprehensive test cases and test plans.
· Write and maintain automated test scripts using playwright using Javascript.
· Perform unit and regression testing, testing of software builds/bug fixes, and document tests performed.
· Monitor existing web applications/projects.
· Reproduce reported issues and document steps needed to reproduce for other developers or team members.
· Document identified bugs and set priorities
· Track open bugs and ensure that identified issues are resolved.
Qualifications:
· Must have keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
· Knowledgeable in automation testing tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright
· Proficiency in scripting languages, with a strong preference for JavaScript. Experience in other languages such as Python or Java is also beneficial.
· Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
· Prior experience as a QA Tester is highly preferred.
· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) is a plus.
· Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is advantageous.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
