About the Role
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Stock Trader to execute equity transactions on behalf of our clients and provide strategic investment advisory services. This role is critical in helping clients, ranging from institutional investors to high-net-worth individuals, navigate the financial markets effectively, achieve their investment goals, and grow their portfolios.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in client acquisition and relationship management while delivering precise trade execution and insightful market analysis. Fluency in Fookien is a plus, enabling better communication with our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with institutional clients, fund managers, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate investors.
Proactively identify and engage new prospective clients to expand the portfolio and drive trading volume.
Provide clients with comprehensive market insights, tailored stock recommendations, and timely trade ideas to support informed investment decisions.
Trade Execution & Market Analysis
Execute client equity trades efficiently and in full compliance with Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) regulations and internal risk management protocols.
Monitor financial markets, corporate actions, and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Research, Compliance, and Trading to enhance client service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Must be a Registered Equities Securities Salesman licensed by the Philippine Stock Exchange.
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related financial discipline is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of investment products, including equities, bonds, foreign exchange, money markets, and derivatives.
Strong understanding of trading platforms, market mechanisms, and compliance regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
Proficiency in Fookien is required.
Willing to work under a 1-year contract on a commission-only compensation structure.
