Job Description

Business Lead Role:

Acts as the voice of the business for the product or capability being developed/enhanced for future releases.

Owns the backlog from a business value standpoint, working closely with technical product owners and operations leads.



Key Responsibilities:

Define and prioritize features based on business needs, aligning to strategic goals.

Engage stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, Procurement (or whatever functional areas are impacted in Wave 2).

Articulate business requirements and user stories clearly for development teams.

Collaborate with technical teams to validate feasibility and guide solution design.

Drive user adoption and change management planning alongside the product lifecycle.

Ensure data quality, process alignment, and compliance with enterprise standards.



Ideal Background & Skills:

Strong knowledge of business processes in scope (e.g. HR onboarding, payroll, procurement, etc.)

Ability to engage with stakeholders such as service delivery / business leaders and associates

Ability to independently conduct workshops with stakeholders and provide options and recommendations

Excellent communication and facilitation skills – can translate business needs into product requirements.

Prior experience in agile delivery environments and product management practices.

Comfortable leading workshops, gathering feedback, and working across cross-functional teams

Strong experience with ServiceNow, ideally with:

HRSD experience

Employee Center, Virtual Agent, Knowledge Management, Case Management

Of additional value in Service Now would be Doc Generation, Journey acceleration, Workday integrations, Manager Hub, Onboarding module, and Lifecycle events.

A multi -function front-end service now portal with multiple modules, teams, and decision makers behind it (ITSM and HRSD, S2P)
