Safety Officer - Fit- out Construction

* Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in fit-out construction activities
* Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSH standards
* Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
* Conduct toolbox for workers and subcontractors
* Ensure proper use of PPE and safety gear
* Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
* Coordinate with the Project Manager and the Safety Manager to implement safety measures
* Maintain documentation of safety inspections, audits, and compliance reports
* Ensure adherence to fire safety protocols, emergency response plans, and evacuation procedures
* Liaise with regulatory agencies e.g. DOLE and ensure compliance

You need to be:
a. Bachelor's degree
b. Certification in COSH
c. Minimum of 2 years experience in safety management
d. Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry standards
e. Excellent communication skills and leadership to enforce safety protocols effectively
